Overview

Ghandruk Trek initiates the next day as you arrive at Kathmandu Valley and drive towards pokhara in our 4W jeep. Afternoon we arrive in Pokhara then we stop our jeep to feel the aura of lakeside with boats rounding the barahi temple amid of the lake. We spend our night at Pokhara and    our team will explain the itinerary for tomorrow.  We then head towards our destination Ghandruk after crossing rivers and seeking a peek into Annapurna South from our jeep window. On our way we visit the gurung museum, where we look into the traditional technique used by local gurung people in the past.

Settled in the heart of Annapurna Conservation Area, Ghandruk is a popular destination for spending time with friends and family. This tour allows you to experience the Gurung people's rooted lifestyle and cuisine that have been there for years and years. We then experience the beautiful sunrise at the morning. It makes you feel the vibrant and positive change in your body with relaxed sensation spreading all over your mind. Lastly, we drive back to pokhara and finish the tour with sip of tea in the lakeside summarizing the experience of Ghandruk village.

The Ghandruk jeep tour is a short and easy trip in the Annapurna region of Nepal that any traveler can join; regardless of their age, interest, and fitness level during any time of the year. No worry about the monsoon season as we need not to walk or hike in this tour. Nevertheless, spring and autumn season is recommended to trekkers as fog can sometimes disturbed the view of Mountains in winter season.

If you and your family/friends like less engagement of tourist during your tour, then you can pack your bags at early December or late august. The trail is less busy during this time of the year.

The Gurungs have a rich history and are well-known for their traditional dance and music. You can take a close look by attending cultural shows, visiting museums, and participating in festivals i.e., Tamu Lhosar during your visit.
