Review of Langtang Gosaikunda Pass Trek

I had an incredible adventure in the Himalayan mountains. We treked to Kyanjin Gompa and to Gosaikunda lake. The pre trip organising was very well done, no problems at all, easy to deal with, very helpful with all the answers to my questions. My Guide Srijan was extremely helpful and efficient and we became good mates, although he was beating me at Yatzee before long ! I was very happy with my trek and all the staff were very professional and efficient. I would highly recommend Nepal Mountain Trekkers and I fully intend to use them again. They are based at Green Horizon Hotel Thamel. Very comfortable, central and nice old world charm.

We had a wonderful 8 days in Nepal with Nepal mountain trekking. Our guide Min was absolutely amazing. He is a very knowledgeable guide about all aspects of history, religion and life in Nepal. He looked after us and made us feel very safe. He is a brilliant story teller and we loved listening to him. Every aspect of our trip was taken care of and it was totally stress free from airport pick up when we arrived to the moment we left. We had a customised trip which was arranged with Avinash. He was very easy to deal with and took care of our needs. The trip was very enjoyable, the 2 tour of Kathmandu was perfect and then 5 days trekking in Langtang. It was more than we expected. The hiking at times was physically tough with the ascents and then with the rain but being on the Himalayas in July that is to be expected. We got a real sense of Nepali culture and life. It was a trip I will never forget. 100% recommend to anyone and a special thanks to Min.

It was already my another trek organized by Nepal Mountain Trekkers. Since arriving in Kathmandu we felt well taken care of, we had a shuttle service to the hotel. We stayed at Horizon Hotel, quiet and beautiful place for Thamel. When we sightseeing Kathmandu, everything was prepared to trek (permits, transport etc). This time our guide was Shiva who is profesional guide with a wealth of local knowledge. We could "only" enjoy our trip as we were sure that everything was well organized. I would definitely recommend Nepal Mountain Trekkers with frendly pofessional owner Ramesh Dhakal and wonderful guide Shiva and Daljit. In november 2015 we met Mr. Ramesh Dhakal and our guide Daljit at the Horizon Hotel in Thamel Kathmandu. They are very friendly persons, like friends and we went on tour with Daljit and my husband, so we were three of us. We were 3 weeks on tour and had a great time with our guide. The lodges and whole trip was very good organized and with Daljit we had the advantage to learn a lot about Nepal and the Nepali's. We went in the houses, enjoyed family life and he showed us the most beautiful spots.We can recommend this organisation 110%. Enjoy!
