I spent a month in Nepal and everything I did during that time was organised by Ramesh from NMT. Honestly, I have no idea what I would have done without him! Not only did he organise my trek to Everest Base Camp flawlessly, he also organised a home stay for me in the village he grew up in and a volunteer project at the local school. Both the trek and the volunteer project were amazing, life-changing experiences and were accommodated by my guide Manish Simkhada. He made sure everything was running smoothly, always looked out for me (especially when I had too much local wine) ???? and was just an overall kind soul. It’s not easy to put up with me every day for an entire month but somehow he did it without complaint!

Thank you Ramesh and Manish for an amazing month and I will see you next time!

Oh and btw, I highly recommend doing some volunteer teaching at the school. The kids are super lovely and it is a very rewarding and eye-opening experience. Village life was simple and incredibly calming - away from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu.

With the Great help and knowledge of Ramesh from NMT, I have experienced this beautiful Trek and discovered other parts of Himalayans mountains during a 16 Day journey, starting from Jiri, with an excellent guide named Tara.

This an excellent way to keep in shape, meet wonderful local people, eat organic food (Dhal Bat Takari...), discover remote and amazing landscapes, encounter wildlife, colourful plants, and feel the energy of continuous rivers & waterfalls.

I suggest you to choose the right time to go trekking in the Himalayas, since the weather can greatly alter your experience with the mountains. I was here in November, we had clear skyes everyday, so we had the opportunity to have clear vistas on the many imposing mountains that form this unique region on Planet Earth.

Tara, Ramesh, and all Nepalese and foreigners I met during this trip have provided me an unparalled experience with discovering Nepal. I highly recommend to travel either alone or as a couple This is the best way to meet and share with others.

Nepalese people, examplified by people at NMT, are happy, sincere, honest, hardworking, proud, outreaching, and most of all Unique. You won't find any other Culture like Nepal anywhere else on Earth. There is also in Kathmandu lot's of good restaurants, my favourite Indian food.

Ramesh was super helpful with organising my trip to the everest region. I trekked ebc and cho la and renjo la. Beautiful trip and not as busy as it is in normal seasons. Just perfect. Thanks!

We just finished a two month stay in Nepal. From the airport our taxi driver recommended we go through Nepal Mountain Trekkers to book all our trekking-related needs, and drove us immediately to Ramesh’s shop outside his Hotel Green Horizon. Through Ramesh, we purchased our flights to Lukla for our Three Passes Trek, a jeep ride to the Manaslu Circuit trailhead, and our required guide for Manaslu. The entire experience was extremely smooth. Ramesh was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable and helped ensure our experience in Nepal was a great one. Our Manaslu trek guide, Krishna, was also great. Ramesh’s Hotel Green Horizon in Kathmandu is beautiful, quiet, and clean.

I had an awesome experience with Nepal mountain trekkers on my Island peak climb. Ramesh was extremely attentive and managed every aspect of the trip very professionally. My guide Manish Shimkhada was great! He was very friendly, knowledgeable and managed to adapt the trip to my preference as we went along. At Kathmandu, I was accommodated at the Green Horizon hotel which was a great choice given the location and nice inside garden.
I would highly recommend Nepal mountain trekkers and will certainly use them again in future trips in to Nepal, Bhutan or Tibet, both for trekking and climbing.

I had a very good experience with Nepal mountain trekkers, the entire booking was done via email and Ramesh managed to design a trip that exactly fit my needs. always with a prompt reply to my emails The first couple of days went as plan until I started facing problems with one of the domestic flights that I had to catch during my trip, after spending hours at the airport the airline canceled my flight and since I had a very tight schedule, the cancellation of the flight caused a major disruption in my trip. My guide contacted Ramesh and he immediately started to work trying to fix the mess caused by the airline, he went above and beyond addressing all my new requests. So my experience with Nepal mountain trekkers couldn’t be better, it is for sure a company you can trust, when everything goes as plan is great, but when things get wrong is when you see who you can count with, and Ramesh was there supporting me all the time.
