Overview of Manaslu Circuit Mountain bike tour

Our journey to the Manaslu Mountain bike tour in Nepal commences with a drive from the capital city, Kathmandu, to Aarughat. From Aarughat, we head to Soti Khola, where our guide states about the place and safety instructions to be followed during the trek. For the coming days, we peddle through riverbanks, suspension bridges, to terraced rice fields. As you reach Samagaun, a place amid the highlands, the view of the mountain peaks starts to be seen. We acclimatize at Samagaun for your trek to higher altitudes

The highest altitude we ride our bike is at Larke Pass (5136m). Reaching Lake Pass, we admire the view of majestic mountains and inhale the cold and fresh air to relax our stressful minds. The Larke La Pass offers magnificent views of the Annapurna Himalaya range, i.e., Mount Manaslu (8,167 meters), Annapurna II (7,937 meters), and Himlung Himal (7,126 meters). – achievement of a lifetime.

Some places can be very tough to ride our bikes, so in order we hike through those places. We combine hiking and biking in this tour because of the rugged roads and steep landscape. At last, we end our journey at the lakeside of Pokhara with a sip of hot tea.

Best time for Mountain biking on the Manaslu

The Manaslu is possibly a rough tour where every moment comes with ups and downs. Although the Manaslu can be embarked on anytime around the year, except the Monsoon season due to heavy rain. The view of the mountains is clearly visible, with mild temperatures serving as a shade. It’s up to you regarding the time and season, accordingly, we will customize your itinerary.

The Manaslu has grown its cultural heritage through Tibetan Buddhist traditions and local practices. During festival seasons, Tsampa Lhosar, Chyangba, and other local festivals help to boost tourist attractions in the region. As Manaslu is a less crowded place, at the peak time it could be a little crowded, but not like the EBC or ABC trek.
